THE Women's Event of the Year!
Thursday, October 1 | Bryn Du Mansion & Campus - Granville, Ohio

537 Jones Road, Granville, Ohio 43023

A one-day conference for women designing lives and careers they love.

About the Conference

The Granville Area Chamber is proud to host the Women in Business Conference: She Means Business, a full-day event dedicated to connecting, inspiring, and empowering women who are shaping their careers, businesses, and communities.

She Means Business is back and this time with a focused approach on professional skill building designed to support women at every stage of their careers.

This year’s conference brings together local professionals, entrepreneurs, and leaders for a day centered on practical growth, real-world tools, and meaningful connection. Whether you're building a business, advancing in your career, or exploring what’s next, this event is designed to give you skills you can immediately put into action.

What to Expect:

  • Skill-Based Workshops
Interactive sessions focused on topics like leadership, communication, financial confidence, marketing, and time management.
  • Actionable Takeaways
Walk away with strategies, frameworks, and tools—not just inspiration.
  • Local Voices & Expertise
Hear from women in our community who are doing the work and willing to share what they’ve learned.
  • Connection with Purpose
Build relationships with other women who are growing, leading, and navigating similar challenges.

This conference is about more than a single day. It’s about equipping women with the skills and confidence to take their next step forward, whatever that looks like.

Join us for a day of learning, connection, and momentum.

Why Attend?

  • Get inspired. Hear from accomplished women leaders who share real stories, not just talking points.
  • Build connections. Meet peers, mentors, and collaborators who will expand your circle of support.
  • Learn practical tools. Every session is designed to give you strategies you can actually use in your work and life.
  • Recharge your energy. Take time away from the daily grind to focus on yourself. You’ll leave refreshed, motivated, and ready for what’s next.
  • Celebrate success. Be part of a community that lifts each other up, cheers loudly, and believes in women leading with confidence.

Communication Mastery: Delivering with Confidence and Power

The average citizen does not value education and freedom to the same commitment in which Lillian Zarzar holds close to her heart. Self-governance is a hallmark of her work.

Lillian is a Certified Speaking Professional (CSP), held by fewer than 15 per cent of professional speakers worldwide. It is the highest earned designation conferred by the National Speakers Association (NSA) and Global Federation of Speakers.

For sixteen years she traveled internationally presenting seminars on 5 Continents and all 50 States.

Her business, The Zarzar Group, based in Columbus, offers programs for emerging leaders, entrepreneurs, and executives. As a specialist in public speaking, self-communication, and interpersonal communication she has authored articles, books, curricula, and interactive programs.

Lillian is an adjunct faculty in Communication Studies for Ohio University and Columbus State Community College. She has been an instructor at The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business and John Glenn College of Public Affairs.

On a lighter note, Lillian took a tour to Egypt on a spiritual journey. On a whim, she joined a group of her colleagues who decided to sneak at midnight to climb the great Pyramid at Giza! Yes, they were caught!
